This ophthalmologist gift is a sight for sore eyes: a 3D-printed ophthalmologist on a wooden base, made to order in our workshop, with optional personalisation.
An ophthalmologist gift with real vision
Passing the FRCOphth, a first talk at the RCOphth Annual Congress, a first cataract list as consultant or retirement: every milestone deserves a closer look. Patients often choose it as an eye doctor gift after cataract surgery; colleagues pick it for birthdays, Christmas and Father’s or Mother’s Day. It’s also one of the most original gifts for an optometrist, whether newly qualified or twenty years in practice. Browsing optician gifts for a favourite colleague? This one stands out on the dispensing desk. And when a consultant hangs up their white coat, it tops any list of doctor retirement gifts.

Materials and care
The figure is 3D printed in PLA, a plant-based bioplastic (typically made from corn starch), and mounted on a wooden base. For more information about PLA, click here. Dust with a soft, dry cloth and keep away from radiators and direct sunlight, as PLA is heat-sensitive.
Production and delivery
Each sculpture is made to order in 2 working days, then delivered within 2–6 working days. For Christmas, order early!
